# Equipment Durability

NavenRO includes an equipment durability mechanic as part of item maintenance and long-term progression.

The durability system is used to represent equipment condition. When an item reaches its broken state, NavenRO can detect that condition and require the equipment to be repaired before it is treated as fully usable again.

## Broken equipment

For the current NavenRO design, **0 durability represents a broken item**.

Broken equipment can be handled by the server's repair flow, including the existing repair-all behavior used by NavenRO.

## Repairing equipment

NavenRO supports checking for broken equipment and then using the repair flow to restore eligible items. The server-side implementation remains authoritative; the website or client UI should not independently decide that an item has been repaired.

## Design goal

Durability is intended to create a light equipment-maintenance loop without replacing Ragnarok Online's normal equipment progression.

Exact durability-loss rates, affected item categories, repair costs, and any future durability-specific NPC rules are configuration/implementation details and should be documented here whenever those values are finalized so the wiki remains the source of truth.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://wiki.navenro.com/gameplay-systems/equipment-durability.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
